Redlands, CA – The University of Redlands School of Business is proud to announce the inaugural Scott Lindsay Memorial Golf Tournament on Monday, October 1, 2012 at the Upland Hills Country Club, 1231 E. 16th Street in Upland. All proceeds benefit the Robert Scott Lindsay Study-Abroad Scholarship Fund, providing international study opportunities for students in the university’s School of Business. Individual and foursome packages are available as well as corporate sponsorship opportunities. Availability is limited.
The scramble format tournament is open to golfers of all skill levels. Special rates have been arranged for those who would like to stay at hotels in the Upland area.
Registration begins at 10:00 a.m., with a Shotgun Start at 12 noon. Reception and dinner begin at 6:00 p.m.
“We have an opportunity to honor a man who was committed to his community and who had a passion for life-long learning,” said Keith Roberts, Interim University Registrar and Associate Dean of the University of Redlands School of Business. “Through this tournament, Scott’s passion will be transformed into a legacy that empowers others to study abroad.”

About The Scholarship Fund:
The Robert Scott Lindsay Study-Abroad Scholarship Fund was created in honor of Robert Scott Lindsay, a two-time graduate of the University of Redlands, member of the Whitehead Leadership Society, adjunct faculty member and a member of the Alumni Board for the School of Business. Lindsay died in a December 2011 shooting at the Irwindale office of Southern California Edison.
